Hope is
a muscle.

It isn't a feeling that arrives once the evidence lines up. It's a discipline, and disciplines can be trained. I help leaders, teams and communities rebuild the human capacities this moment is actually asking for.

The work

For three hundred years we built institutions that needed a person to be a function. A score. A seat. A unit of output. We got very good at it, and very good at leaving everything else at the door.

Then AI arrived and revealed something uncomfortable. The function was the part that could be automated. Everything we called soft, discernment, imagination, presence, the courage to say the true thing in a room that would rather not hear it, turns out to be the part that can't.

That is the work. Not faster processing. The capacities we were told didn't count.

On stage

Keynotes, workshops, and the conversations in between.

Ulcca works with leaders and teams across sectors, in companies, institutions and communities, who are navigating change their playbooks were never built for. The work helps people step out of fear-based narratives, question the stories they're telling about this moment, and find the agency to build what comes next.

We don't need more information right now. We need to rebuild our capacity to believe in what we can't yet see.

Who

I don't see the future. I help you see yourself and your world differently.

I grew up between cultures, on three continents, always slightly outside whatever room I was in. For a long time I understood that as a problem. It took me years to understand it as preparation.

Seeing every system from the outside is what let me notice that the way things are is not the way things have to be. That is what a futurist actually does. Not predict, but read what is already in motion, and help people think more clearly about the futures that are genuinely possible, so they can act with more agency now.

Keynotes & workshops

One keynote, shaped to your room. Four sessions that go deeper.

The keynote is built around your theme and the moment your people are actually in. The workshop themes take a capacity we were taught to treat as soft and show why it is now the thing that decides whether an organisation makes it through.

The keynote Hope Is a Muscle

One throughline, built around your theme and the moment your people are in. 45–60 minutes, plenary, fireside or panel hosting.
